Optimize your Route Online by MapCircuit.com

 Q: What is MapCircuit?
A: MapCircuit is online software that optimizes a multi-stop route. We are able to optimize the route either as a round-trip or a one-way. The route is the shortest path between all the stops on the route.

 Q: How does pricing work?
A: Optimization and map layouts are free for under 5 addresses on the initial page. Users may purchase "map credits" at the rate of $20 for 20 credits.

Each map up to 10 addresses counts as 1 credit, so a person could do 20 maps of this size in a month for the basic price of $20. If a map has 11 to 20 addresses, it counts as 2 map credits. Each new span of 10 addresses is an additional map credit.

These credits are only counted when a map is successfully produced. There is no charge if there are problems with inaccurate addresses or other issues which prevent successful analysis and completion of the requested address list and map.

Purchased map credits are good for one year from the date of purchase. Additional purchases will "roll over" existing credits expiration to the next annual date. With a $100 purchase, 10 additional credits are added as a bonus.

Contact us if you are interested in higher volume discounts.

Q: The system is having problems with the addresses I'm typing.
How do I fix these address errors?
A: Try including the zip code, if you know it.

Make sure names are spelled correctly.

Make sure to include information such as "St" for street, or "AVE" for avenue.

Make sure you include the st, nd, and th after a number street name.
(ie: 8200 North 5th Avenue, New York, NY)

You may need to try the address online at Google, Yahoo, or Mapquest to see if they provide other alternatives.

Q: What is the difference between One-way and Round Trip maps?
A: A round-trip optimization will produce a route which begins and ends with
the FIRST address in your list. The order of other addresses will be modified to produce the shortest complete circuit.

A one-way optimization will produce a route which begins with the FIRST address in your list and ends with the LAST address in your list. The order of other addresses in between will be modified to produce the shortest route.

Q: Is MapCircuit information available as a Web Service for other websites or client/server applications?
A: Yes, MapCircuit was designed to work as a Web Service. All the data can be incorporated into any website or client/server application easily. MapCircuit.com is itself a client of the Web Service, displaying how easily the information can flow back-and-forth.
